Our next Research in Progress Seminar is scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 20 at 12:30 PM in the Goldman International Conference Center. The speaker will be Xiqian Lan, PhD, institute scientist of the Renal Research Lab. Dr. Lan will be discussing “Role of APOL1 risk variants in HIV-associated kidney disease“.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify new developments in understanding mechanisms of disease.
- Integrate new investigational results with current diagnostic and treatment protocols.
- Judge the potential importance for current best practices of treatment regimes based on new translational studies.
