There will be a Rheumatology seminar scheduled for Wednesday, October 22nd in the Degnan Conference Room of the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research. Our guest speaker will be Harris Perlman, PhD, professor of medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Perlman will be presenting, “Macrophage Plasticity is Central for the Pathogenesis of Rheumatic Diseases”. Dr. Perlman will be hosted by Anne Davidson, MBBS.
Learning Objectives:
- Discus the evolution of macrophages during different phases of rheumatic disease development.
- Distinguish between the different phenotypes of macrophages.
- Discuss the various murine models of RA, SLE, and SSC like disease.
