Communicate your ideas to non-scientists and have a chance to present to the Feinstein Institute’s Board of Directors.
RISE is a competition that incorporates objectives from Northwell Health’s Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Health Literacy. It encourages interaction between the health system and community while providing science education and promoting health literacy.
Post docs, fellows, residents, doctoral students, institute scientists and research scientists conducting scientific research within Northwell Health are eligible to participate. For other eligibilities, please send a query to FeinsteinAdministration@northwell.edu.
The RISE finalists will give presentations about their projects to a general audience and diverse panel of judges. Prizes will be awarded for first and second place. This program is open to all Health System employees and members of the community. A reception will be held while the judges deliberate, and continue after the winners are announced.
