Discover the impact of research conducted at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research by hearing personal accounts from patients, researchers and clinicians who collaborate with each other. At an event hosted by the Feinstein Institute, the research branch of the North Shore-LIJ Health System, Dr. Andrew Feigin will discuss how he became interested in studying Parkinson’s disease, and one of his patients will discuss her experience with the disease. They will share how research has impacted her life and their hopes for the future. This discussion will provide insight into the strong clinical research conducted across the health system and showcase how Feinstein Institute researchers advance science to prevent disease and cure patients.

Research: Hope Lives Here is a bi-annual event that celebrates how the research conducted at the Feinstein Institute directly benefits patients. The series brings together leading Feinstein Institute researchers, physicians from the Health System and their patients to share success stories about the intersection of research with a specific disease.

This event is open to the public and a wine-and-cheese reception will follow. Valet parking will be available.
