The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research is offering REDCap Intermediate classes that will be held at the Center for Learning and Innovation (CLI) on a monthly basis. REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a secure research data management application; it allows users to build and manage online surveys and databases quickly and securely, and can be utilized for a specific clinical trial or study being conducted by a researcher.
The intermediate class is a follow-up to the REDCap Overview Class. To enroll in the REDCap Intermediate Class, you must know how to create a new project in REDCap and enter data into it. This class will teach you how to utilize some of the helpful tools within REDCap like the Data Import Tool, Report Builder, and the Data Quality module. You will also learn how to use Surveys in your project. This is a hands-on class conducted in a computer lab. Time left at the end will be for Q&A, so students should come prepared with questions about their own REDCap projects to address with the instructor and class.
